is the resident sound-system since the creation of University of Dub in the late 90's, through the legendary sessions at Brixton Rec, then the turbulent and heavy bass nights at SEOne club and now at the historic Scala night club. Aba-Shanti-I has united people worldwide through his selection of conscious music. "What you hear is what I'm feeling inside. It's just the father giving I and I inspiration, directing us to send out vibrations to the people, bringing the races, all the different nations together under Jah love is what we play for. People come to discard their worries and to lose themselves in the music and by doing so cast off the mental shackles from their mind and the yolk from around their shoulders, find themselves, be at peace and be free...

The Leeds based sound-system was formed in 1990 with Mark Iration fronting the sound. This cutting edge dub roots sound -system has uplifted the crowds at University of Dub for over 9 years, establishing a following since Brixton Rec days.  The Vanguard of Dub playing inna year 3000 style!

 

Channel One is one of the worlds top sound-systems playing roots & culture music.  With owners Jah T and Mikey Dread, the set up has been trodding the road for over 25 years.  Channel One built up their reputation as one of the main sound-systems at Notting Hill Carnival, then entertaining a new audience through the regular dub sessions at University of Dub.
